Tornado Watch and Flood Alerts Issued for NYC and Tri-State Area

The National Weather Service (NWS) has also issued a Flood Watch for most of New Jersey and New York City. The region is experiencing a Level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather, with New Jersey facing a higher Level 3 risk. Earlier Tornado Warnings in New Jersey expired at 3:45 p.m., but the area remains under threat of flash flooding, damaging winds, and additional storms throughout the evening.
